Today there was a Rough-legged Hawk (probable female) at the intersection of US52, MN55 and the Barnes Avenue overpass in Inver Grove Hts, Dakota Co.
It perched mostly in the tops of small trees in the SE quadrant of Barnes Ave and MN55. A dark morph Red-tailed Hawk was seen briefly in the same area (SW quadrant, near the small holding pond) a couple weeks ago. This is also within the pale Red-tailed Hawk's territory.
