After the earlier report of Ruddys at the dam I stopped by for lunch and saw
mostly the same birds as Ron & Maureen, Ruddys were still there but on Anoka
side and only 3 shovelers. Also saw 4 green-winged teal, 2 fly in Cormorants
that landed up river and left after about 10 minutes. 1 breeding plumage
Horned grebe, by point of land north of the dam (need a scope to see from
dam), 1 Red-necked grebe - varied from near Coon Rapids side to middle of
river and 100 yards north of dam to 1/4 to 1/2 mile north.
