I visited the Ottawa Retainment on Sunday and, despite the wind, had a fun
day. No ibis for me but at least 3 Snowy Egrets in the field north of the
kiosk and lots of good mud in the NW cell. Quite a few shorebirds, mostly
yellowlegs, but also Pectoral Sandpipers, peeps and 3 Golden Plovers. The
greatest diversity seemed to be along the northern section of the Traverse
County line road.

Have fun!
