Doing some yard work shortly before noon today I heard a most unusual bird sound for my neighborhood in southern Brooklyn Center (just 2 blocks north of Mpls). Eastern Towhee calling his “drink your tea” Song over and over. Eventually caught a short glimpse of him in my neighbors crabapple tree. A fantastic yard bird for me, no doubt just passing through.
