A possible Bullock's Oriole first showed up at my feeder around 6:00 p.m. I got
some mediocre pictures of it with my cell phone at the time. It reappeared at
7:35 p.m. and I was ready for it this time. Mike Oetken came over and was able
to get some good pictures of it with his Canon camera. I live at 420 2nd Ave
SW in Sleepy Eye. My feeder is visible best from Linden St. If you try for the
bird, please park on the south side of Linden (you can stand on the sidewalk on
the south side of Linden). You can also see the feeder from 2nd Ave SW. Please
don't stand on my yard or the north side of Linden street so we don't frighten
the bird. Good luck, hopefully it returns in the morning. Brian Smith
