I just learned today that Fred Lesher died recently. He was 92 and had been a good friend for decades. Among his many accomplishments, Fred was past president of MOU for three years in the 1960s, was the authority on Houston County birding for years and co-authored a bird finding guide to that county, and he received the MOU’s T S Roberts Award in 2012.
