The Eurasian Tree Sparrow that was originally reported by Sharon Lind on Friday
and then seen again by Bruce Munson on Saturday is still present as of 8:00 A.M
this morning in Two Harbors. Someone has been spreading seed in the first space
of a parking lot at the corner of 6th Street and South Avenue and that is where
the bird was sited. The YHBB was seen at the same location this morning. I will
post a photo of the immature male / female (not sure which but believe it's the
former due to the presence of a white wing patch) later today. I plan to stay a
bit longer to try to get a photo of the Tree Sparrow as well. There was also a
clay-colored sparrow present at the same feeding area.
