For anyone interested in catching them before the end of the season, Bell's
Vireos are still singing at both Cliff Fen and Grey Cloud Dunes.

Yesterday at Cliff Fen I saw two birds, including at least one singing, between
the first and second pylons - closer to the second. They were mostly keeping
low in sumac on the north side of the trail, but occasionally one would sing
from an open perch in taller cherry or buckthorn shrubs. Note that the trail is
overgrown and very buggy right now.

Today at Grey Cloud Dunes, I heard and saw a singing bird in the same location
it has previously been reported on eBird - a dense sumac clump about halfway
between the two trailheads. Again it was mostly keeping low but would
occasionally sing from higher up in a small boxelder. Watch out for poison ivy
here if you go off trail.

Also at Grey Cloud Dunes, still lots of grassland sparrows: Grasshopper,
Clay-colored, Field, Vesper, Savannah. I couldn't find any Henslow's though, so
if anyone has seen/heard them there recently I'd appreciate knowing exactly
where they were found - on or off list, whichever you think is appropriate.
Thanks.
