Back in mid-July, we had the most shorebird luck at Marsh Lake on T-156 running south off Hwy 7. There were two good spots facing west along T-156, best in the morning.
There is another viewing point at the end of 271st Ave, north of Hwy 34 and near the dam. Look for a "Public Water Access" sign and drive north to the end of 271st. Here were hundreds of pelicans but the water edge is way out from the end of the road. -- Claudia Egelhoff West Saint Paul, MN ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html During the pandemic, the MOU encourages you to stay safe, practice social distancing, and continue to bird responsibly.
