This would definitely be the farthest north that I have ever heard or seen this 
species. We are on Big Rice Lake in the Superior National Forest and the bird, 
first heard calling & then seen, appeared to be an Immature having its orangey 
red hood incomplete from the crown of the head forward. Sent via the Samsung
