The wildlife drive closes Saturday November 6 and may or may not re-open on the 15th (depends on weather and road conditions.)
One other bit of (I think) good news. The refuge plans to move the gate now at the Hwy 5 entrance to a point just past the Welcome Station (the first stop with the restrooms and kiosk.) This will open up a bit of the drive earlier in the Spring than usual.
