Since rarities seen in Duluth often do not appear on this listserv, note that
an Ivory Gull was seen today at dawn at Canal Park. Presumably the same bird
was first found sometime yesterday by Sam Holcomb at the Park Point recreation
area. I have no information on the gull’s plumage, but it is likely a first
winter bird.
