25th annual Detroit Lakes Festival of Birds' registration is now open for the May 19-21 event. Birding by pontoon, field trips Friday and Saturday mornings, hummingbird presentation by Carrol Henderson and Scott Weidensaul on the big screen based on his latest book, A World on the Wing are some of the highlights.
