On an MOU field trip I led this morning, we turned up an Acadian Flycatcher 
singing at the edge of a vernal pool between trail markers 15 and 10.  This is 
a difficult bird for the county and was an unexpected find at this location.

In total, we tallied 63 species, some of which were life birds for the 10 
attendees that joined me for a five mile hike through beautiful Crow Hassan
