With continuing drought, it's tough to figure out where to go for good shorebird viewing. I have time on my hands this coming Saturday and am looking for suggestions, either within a 50-mile radius of St. Paul or a 100-mile radius if it is very promising. By "good" or "promising", I mean a nice variety, reasonably accessible viewing, maybe even an uncommon species or two. I'd like to be within camera and binocular range - I don't own a scope. I respect that many birders may not want more people crashing a favorite site, and I respect that, but any ideas gratefully accepted and considered. Thanks,
