For years I have been frustrated by the need to constantly replace batteries in
TrailCams due to cold northern Minnesota weather in combination with poor image
/ video quality. The solar array options didn't seem much better. Early last
month I got the idea to try a security camera as a trailcam. Eureka, many new
options opened up ... electric power cord and local wifi network control to
name a few. If interested I just posted an extensive review on my blog of my
new camera setup with photos and annotated screenshots of the app that controls
everything.
