For years I have been frustrated by the need to constantly replace batteries in TrailCams due to cold northern Minnesota weather in combination with poor image / video quality. The solar array options didn't seem much better. Early last month I got the idea to try a security camera as a trailcam. Eureka, many new options opened up ... electric power cord and local wifi network control to name a few.
