I just had a flock of 30+ Common Redpolls in my yard with a couple stopping at my feeder on Woodtick Trail in the Chippewa Nat'l Forest. My friend, nearby on Baby Lake, showed me a photo of Red Crossbills at his feeder last week. I also had an unexpected visit from a Black-billed Magpie to my yard on December 28.
