Dave, who many of you know through his devotion to the MOU and his incredible work on the MOU website, passed away last night. Though his mind was still quite sharp, he had been limited in his ability to get around over the last few years by a respiratory ailment that required he be on oxygen. During this past year he knew that his time was growing short. He recently confided to me that one of his last hopes was that he would have a chance to hold the baby his granddaughter was expecting. That happened this spring.
