At 12:45 pm today a flock of 15 sandhill cranes circled several times over the Sam Morgan biking/walking trail along Warner Road just west of Hwy 61. After circling the flock headed north over Indian Mounds park.
I wondered if they had been in the water body along the trail, since they were calling and flting low as they began to circle.
