Today while looking for a snowy, I was driving just north of Hutchinson (McLeod County) towards Meeker County on Tagus Avenue and noticed what I thought was a small hawk on a utility line. I slowed down when it appeared to be something else. I stopped and snapped a photo and later identified it as a Northern Hawk Owl. The exact location would be County Rd 12 (Tagus Avenue) and the 230th Street intersection.
