Dear Pavel, Thanks for your reply. I now recompiled OZJS from scratch (executing install.sh step by step in shell "by hand") as normal user (no root). No problem at all. No idea what the problem was before -- perhaps my file manager just did not properly update the file list? Sorry.
Anyway, the loading error remained. I don't know why the permission is denied: the user can read and write this file. But nevermind for now. I just keep in mind that JS can be embedded in OZ.
