I should indeed use the warnshadow option, as I was bitten by similar issues frequently already :-/ However, I am using ozmake for building etc., and I didn't find a way in its documentation to set this flag.

I understand that I can also set this by a compiler switch with
        \switch +warnshadow

Any suggest of a suitable way to set such compiler flags per default when using ozmake -- without entering them by hand in all source files?
I once tried to add some debugging-info-related switches, and I ended up adjusting ozmake's sources.
