you are right... we can forget about TRASHCAN and FIXED... about RETIRED, I used it once to retire a report that finally we discover to be related to a the specific... check the replies and follow ups here:

The only high number is then in incoming (9999!). But actually, it appears real reports are only within the first 30-or-so messages (among spam), after that there are thousands of "Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender" (how long [EMAIL PROTECTED] broken?).


yes indeed. That folder filled up with mail related errors when the tracker became read-only.

BTW: should the new bug tracker have similar categories?


yes, but we can define new ones... we can discuss about them while we are migrating. BTW, I will move this discussion to the hackers list.
