Dear all,
Wolfgang, thanks for uploading your nice contributions to Collozeum.
You may consider adding a little note for each project to the wiki

BTW, is it possible to put "Releases" on Collozeum, e.g. for people

don't want to download stuff with subversion?
I see there is a "Files" section but I guess only administrators can
upload files?
There are a few things concerning Collozeum which are still
unresolved. For releases, I feel the best approach would be to have
some interface to Mogul such that users can install easily releases
with a simple
ozmake --install --package=mogul:/your/package
We discussed more than a year ago how we can set up Collozeum so that
released projects can be published at MOGUL. Everyone agreed that
this would be a good thing to have. Perhaps this is a good
opportunity to bring this matter to the next stage :)
Here are the problem areas in brief as I see them. Firstly, Mogul is
very much the baby of Denys, and without him it is somewhat hard to
set things up. Nevertheless, Filip made some concrete suggestions how
the file structure of the release directory has to look so that the
MOZART librarian does not crash (see below a copy of two related
emails).
The second problem is that we need help from admins to set things up
for Collozeum's Gforge platforms. We did not know whether/how we can
setup the directory files Filip mentioned in a Gforge project, i.e.
Collozeum. Does anybody here know how to do that or whom we should ask?
Once the directory structure is set up, we need to apply for a MOGUL
id. Possibly at that stage we do need Denys' help. Anyway, it did
work for Filip, but for simplicity we agreed that it is a good idea
to apply for only one id for all Collozeum projects.
BTW: I still don't know whether we can release individual projects at
MOGUL if we have only a single MOGUL id. Any comment on that issue?
Best
Torsten
PS: In part 2 of this mail you find a copy of mails (threads
actually) related to this matter.
