I had a very similar problem some time ago, but unfortunately can't
remember the exact explanation of what was going wrong.  You're right
that the appearance of 127.0.1.1 is the key - somehow Mozart picks this
up as the "preferred" network interface and tries to expose tickets on
it.  Of course, since this is a local address it doesn't work.

From memory, the solution involved (1) using the name of the machine
rather than "localhost" in the initialisation of the ParallelSearch
object, and (2) editing /etc/hosts to list the external IP address as
the first entry for that name.

There is a page in the Mozart docs that led me to understand this, I'll
try to dig it up and send it along...
