I hope this is not off-topic. In the Haridi and Van Roy slides
(LINF1251) there is an example in Chapter 2 that uses
FH={OpenFile "name"}
...
{CloseFile FH}
Am I right in thinking that these functions are purely hypothetical? I
guess I see how to write them based on Open.file and friends, but at
this point in CTM, we don't know about classes.
