Information Security Requirements.  Certain file types are being blocked from 
entering 
the Lockheed Martin Intranet in order to minimize risk to Corporate computing 
and 
information resources. 

Blocked File Name:  CompileData.oz


If an immediate business need exists and you must receive this file without 
delay, a 
temporary naming convention ".allow" has been approved for use by Corporate 
Information 
Security for receipt and review of attachments.  Below are instructions 
regarding use 
of the ".allow" extension.


Instructions for the Sender:

1. The sender will need to change the name of the file extension to ".allow", 
   e.g., "Test.lll" would be changed to "Test.allow". 

2.  Have the sender provide the name of the software program that generated the 
blocked 
    file and its proper 3 character file extension type, i.e. .pac, .lnk 

3.  Resend the file. 
 

Instructions for Recipients of ".allow" file types:

1.  Upon receipt of the ".allow" file, Save it onto your Desktop or appropriate 
folder 
    location. 

2.  Rename the file using the 3 character file extension type, provided by the 
sender. 

3.  Save the file.
 

If you have a requirement to receive this file type on a regular basis for 
Lockheed Martin
business, submit a request to unblock this specific file extension type using 
the 
Attachment Request System, 
http://protection.global.lmco.com/protection/auth/ars/
