I'm a novice with Mozart too and unfortunately I can't help you to solve
the problem. However, I can confirm that Mozart works fine on Gentoo.
This is what I have on two of my systems:
garnet ~ $ eix mozart
* dev-lang/mozart
Available versions: !1.3.2 !1.3.2-r1 !1.4.0
Installed: 1.4.0
Homepage: http://www.mozart-oz.org/
Description: Mozart is an advanced development platform for
intelligent, distributed applications
* dev-lang/mozart-stdlib
Available versions: !1.3.2 !1.3.2-r1 !1.4.0
Installed: 1.4.0
Homepage: http://www.mozart-oz.org/
Description: The Mozart Standard Library
I assume there must be something specific about your setup that Mozart
does not like. have you looked on the Gentoo bugzilla?
Good luck,
Roger
