Hi Bai Li,

I use Viper, a VI emulation on top of Emacs, which still allows full access
to Emacs functions, and hence to OPI functions. Start up the OPI and within
Emacs, type:

M-x viper-mode

(On my Vista machine M-x is Alt-X)

Viper has several levels of compatibility between VI and Emacs - the higher
the level the more Emacs functionality is enabled. When you first start
viper it will prompt you for the level. I use level 2 and it works fine: I
can use all the OPI bindings as well as having a full VI interface. More
importantly you can follow the tutorials and CTM examples.

Sometimes, Viper behaves slightly differently from Vim but you will be able
to work it out easily enough.

Cheers,

Dave

Subject: Using Mozart/Oz without Emacs?

Hello,

I'm a beginner interested in Mozart/Oz, but I don't want to spend the time
to learn Emacs, as I'm already an experienced Vim user. What's the best way
to program Oz without Emacs?

I've used ozc -x; {System.show} works but many examples containing {Browse}
don't work. How do I import Browse?

Thanks.
