Here are my two pence. I haven't tried this out but think it might
work. Define an environment variable thus:
OZLOAD=prefix=x-ozlib://parmenti/xmg/=foo/cache/
To understand what this means and also other ways to define OZLOAD
(aka OZ_SEARCH_LOAD or OZ_LOAD):
