Going through the first chapter of the CTM book, I'm finding a lot of usage of
the 'declare' keyword without explanation for its syntax.
I'm confused because the word 'declare' would just appear at the top of the
file, with no corresponding 'end' keyword. The way I understand it, declare is
used to create a new variable or function. However it's not really attached to
any one declaration and just appears there.
In what instances do you need to put the declare keyword, and when is it not
necessary?
I'd appreciate if somebody could clarify this for me.
