Hi guys,

The setting Torsten is referring on the Browser is Options->Representation->Type, and then you can choose Strings and Virtual Strings.

They are not set as default, because it is much more common to browse lists of integers such as [1 2 3 4], instead of their ASCII representation.

Now, another useful thing for writing programs to be executed from the command line is

{System.showInfo "My Virtual String containing a "#Var}
