Then it might be a good idea to document a few typical steps that should
be done, link it from a webpage that is hit often by people running into
this, such as Debian's bug report on the issue. That might help a few
people that would wish to start hacking it off.
Now it may be that this is not desirable to have someone else hack on
that. But it's always a good idea to have that issue more documented. At
least to get a real-life perspective on what this is all about. I mean,
I'm curious about this issue, and would appreciate going a bit further
than "it doesn't work; have to wait".
