Also released were the latest technology previews of the stand-alone Web browser, Mozilla Firebird, and the stand-alone e-mail client, Mozilla Thunderbird.
Mozilla Firebird 0.7 includes great new features like an advanced preferences panel, cookie whitelisting, Web panels (like Mozilla's sidebar panels), alternate stylesheet support, Send Page, Send Link, and Send Image menu items, and lots of bug fixes and other small improvements. See <http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firebird/release-notes.html> for more information.
With the new Mozilla Thunderbird 0.3 release users can place a signature at the top of a message reply if the reply text is configured to be at the top of the message, POP accounts can be configured to remove read messages from the server after X days, and the application has received many additional performance, stability and UI polish improvements. See <http://www.mozilla.org/projects/thunderbird/release-notes.html> for more information.
All three of these new releases are available for download at <http://www.mozilla.org/> and are, for the first time, available for purchase on CD at the Mozilla Store <http://store.mozilla.org/>
