Hello everybody, NSS is too big, as well as NSPR! More than this, some implementations of NSS and NSPR (Macintosh for instance) conflicts with internal Netscape functions and we cannot load it from Java! That's why we are looking for an external, portable as far as possible, pkcs#11 implementation accessing Cert7.db and Key3.db (I mean, certificates and associated keys imported in Netscape). Extracting softoken from NSS seems to be a very hard job, and we would need to re-write a "lite" version of NSPR.
Maybe we could try to use a mix of dbm and gpkcs11? Does anybody knows the best way to do that? Thanks in advance! Didier.
