This has been around for a while, it's currently nsbeta1+, but still
only mozilla1.0. There are two issues - one is to bring the handling of
application/pkcs7-smime to be the same as application/x-pkcs7-smime
(which will make these messages at least display), and the second is to
improve the quality of Mozilla's handling of that mime type, including
correct assessment and display of its encrypted/signed status.
