I have was using Mozilla 1.3.1 with Enigmail on Windows2000 Professional. Yesterday I have upgraded Mozilla to 1.4 and now Enigmail does not work. This is the message I can see (when I click on the Menu Enigmail->About):

ERROR: Failed to access enigmail service! IPCService/ProcessInfo not available ================================================
When I tried to do the upgrade, I see the hour-glass cursor for a minute or so and then nothing changes. I have also tried to go the http://enigmail.mozilla.org site and there was no response.
I don't know how long the Enigmail site has been down, but is Enigmail supported on Mozilla 1.4?

I ran into the same issue this weekend. Try http://downloads.us-east3.mozdev.org/enigmail/ - the version you need for Mozilla 1.4 is 0.76.1 (0.80 will not work, it's for one of the Mozilla spinoffs).
