Hello,

I also try to import pkcs#12 certificate whith the same error message.
The extension of file is PFX. I use Mozilla 0.98 under Mandrake Linux 8.2. The certificate works fine through Internet Explorer 5.5 under W2K and Mozilla 1.21 under Knoppix.

Can you give piece of advice about this kind of trouble ?

Thanks a lot.

- your p12 files might be invalid
- maybe after deleting A, the cert is not completely purged from memory. Try to restart the application
- maybe certs in A and B have identical serial number and issuer, that would cause confusion
- could you try to nightly Mozilla build to see whether it's unable to import C, too?

Hi,

I have 3 PKCS12 files(for example,A.p12,B.p12,C.p12),each one can be
imported to IE.
But only A.p12 can be imported to Netscape7.0,then I delete it from "Your
certificate".
Now,"Your Certificate" tab in certificate manager of Netscape7.0 is empty.
When import B.p12 to Netscape7.0,it pops up:"The certificate and private key
already exist on the security device" .
When import C.p12,it pops up:"The PKCS #12 operation failed for unknown
reasons".

Why Netscape prompt these messages? What's wrong with my PKCS12 files?

Thanks in advance.
