In my first reply in this thread, I wrote:
Since pk11_PairwiseConsistencyCheck takes both the public and private keys
as arguments, and since the length of the modulus is readily available in
the public key structure, I wonder why it doesn't look there instead.
Looking in the public key structure is much easier than asking the PKCS11 module for anything.
Even if you don't have time to write the patch, please take the time to write the bug report, or if you can't, tell me (in a posting to this group) and I will.

Not sure what "medias res" means, but I filed bugzilla bug 228732 about this issue.
