I've received a new request for a CA to be included in Mozilla, for SECOM Trust.net CA; see the bug for more information:<snip>
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=260259
SECOM Trust.net is WebTrust for CA audited, so I expect to approve this request (for their non-Valicert CA), after a reasonable period for comments and discussion.
Per my comments above, I'm approving inclusion of the Security Communication RootCA1 certificate in Mozilla, etc., and have filed bug 261379
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=261379
against NSS to get the cert actually added to NSS.
As noted in my previous comments, SECOM Trust.net actually has two root CA certs; however one of them, SECOM Trust.net Root1 CA (or SECOM Trust.net Root CA1) is actually a Valicert root cert that is already in NSS/Mozilla. The new cert I'm approving adding is the Security Communication Root1CA certificate.
Please submit technical comments about adding the cert to NSS to bug 261379; all other comments should be made in bug 260259 or in this newsgroup.
