I actually reconfigured the program and that seems to have solved it. On start up I creat a socket and give it all the properties I needed (including ssl and use that as a model socket for all other listening sockets) actually that seems to work fine and has actually seemed to cure a memory leak that I was having. Now if only I can narrow down my last other problem. But that will be for a different thread... Thanks for everything... :)
