Dear all,
I need a clarification regarding Signer Certificate Verification. I
am currently using Cert_VerifyCertificateNow() method of NSS.
This method checks the validity of the trust chain, after checking
revocation status of the certificate. So if the certificate is revoked,
I can't know whether the certificate chain is trusted or not.
What I would like to know regarding this is :
Is there some means by which I can find the validity of the
certificate chain
with out taking the revocation status into consideration. If we
try to force this to happen, is it a violation of any standard.
