FYI, we have iplanet web server 4.1 running on intel 64K
under mandrake linux 7.0, have no problem with start
console.

We have openldap which is default packaged with mandrake
linux this was conflicting with netscape directory server
giving segmentation errors. ( openldap gets installed
by default.)

We uninstalled openldap and then re-installed netscape
directory server and it runs smoothly now.
