The issue was with any pre-existing LDAP setups ... if you start from 
scratch, everything works fine .. if you had existing LDAP setups, you cant 
see them .. and if you add more (with previous still in there) they wouldnt 
show up ...

I cleared out pre-existing, started new, and all is working ..
