Need help making an announcement

In order to update the documentation status page, I'd like to contact every project leader and ask them the following:

"Does your project's documentation that needs maintaining or updating? If so, what is it and what updates are needed? Please let me know as soon as possible so I can add your requests on the new documentation status page at mozilla.org. In the future, interested parties would look at the page and fulfill your requests."

I was considering posting this message in every newsgroup, but I'm not sure if this is the most efficient or productive way to do so. Any suggestions?
