...dom_all.xml file is the output of the entire domref book as bad, Frame-based XML. It also has some of the DocBook files I have been making out of that source. docref.xml in the document subdirectory, for example, is the document element reference, into which the various properties (e.g., anchors.xml) are being included as separate XML files.
If you guys want to help get this into DocBook, that'd be a good starting point. I'm not wedded to the structure of the book as I have described it. Go ahead and make changes in those files, use the frame XML as a basis for making new DocBoook files, etc.

I/O, what do you think about producing a skeleton TOC and index and starting anew since the current doc is causing grief among its readers?
