In IE one can fairly easily invoke the Windows color dialog (the one with a
48-set "Basic Colors" swatch, an empty swatch below for 16 "Custom Colors"
and an expandable panel with the entire RRRGGGBBB hue/sat grid):
<XBJECT id="dlgHelper" height="0px" width="0px"
classid="clsid:3050f819-98b5-11cf-bb82-00aa00bdce0b" ></XBJECT>
<script language="javascript">
var sColor = document.getElementById('dlgHelper').ChooseColorDlg();
</script>
Is there a way to call that dialog from Firefox? I'm not too familiar with
the FF sandbox and whether it can invoke the standard Windows objects or
not...
