Following in the footsteps of Chak Nanga and the MRE (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/embedding/MRE.html) I've started the XRE project.
The goal is to produce something for XUL / JS developers so that they can quickly produce cross platform, stand alone XUL applications. The project just getting started. For more details see http://www.mozilla.org/projects/xul/xre.html -Seth
