I am currently at the start of a project that requires an embedded browser. Before I can go ahead, I need to know if it's feasible - can it be made to fit onto our small platform? what development effort is required? I'm finding it surprisingly difficult to find this information.

It seems I have two options:
1) Start with Gecko and build up
2) Start with Mozilla/ Galeon/ Skipstone and strip out.

So for each of Gecko, Mozilla, Galeon and Skipstone I would like to know the minimum RAM requirement (executable and data), list of component software with sizes, OS requirements and any info that would help in estimating development costs.

Well that's my goal. Can anyone provide any figures?

We have a P2 266 MMX equivalent running Linux, with probably <32Mb RAM for the browser.
