I've seen this question asked a few times in the newsgroup, but haven't seen any sort of definitive answer, so I'll ask again in hopes of getting one :-)
Is it possible to embed Mozilla in a UI-less command-line app?
I've looked over the embedding API docs and it looks like theoretically this should be doable so long as one implements dummy handlers for the app callback interfaces shown in http://www.mozilla.org/projects/embedding/public-apis-image3.gif and http://www.mozilla.org/projects/embedding/embedoverview/EmbeddingBasics13.html#1001242
We're hoping we might be able to use embedded mozilla as part of an automated website testing application (which would remote-control mozilla through a sequence of browser actions and then inspect the resulting DOM, etc.).
